🔓 STEP 1: Unlock Your Purchase
To access your digital product, you will use your unique Etsy Order Number. This code acts as your license key and allows you to use your planner on up to 4 devices (laptops, tablets, or phones).
- Find your Etsy Order Number (located on your Etsy receipt or in your account under "Purchases").
- Go to our main Client Portal link.
- Type in your Order Number and tap "Fetch My Trip".

📱 STEP 2: Install the App on Your Phone
To get the full "App" experience and ensure your trip data works completely offline while you are walking around a new city, you need to save it to your phone's Home Screen. Do this after you have unlocked your trip!
🍎 For Apple (iOS) Users:
- Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad. (Note: This must be done in Safari, not Chrome or the Etsy app).
- Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down the menu and tap "Add to Home Screen".
- Tap "Add" in the top right corner.
- An app icon will now appear on your phone! Close your browser and open the app directly from your home screen.
🤖 For Android Users:
- Open Chrome and navigate to your planner.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
- Tap "Add to Home screen" and follow the prompt.

💻 STEP 3: Using Multiple Devices (Laptops & Phones)
Because your purchase grants you 4 device unlocks, you can absolutely open ANY of our Destination Guides or the WanderPlan Planner on your laptop, iPad, and phone simultaneously! However, because we prioritize your privacy and offline access, your data is stored locally on the specific device you use.
Here is how to get the most out of using multiple devices:
For Destination Itineraries:
Feel free to open the guide on your laptop to comfortably read through the daily plans and explore the map links on a big screen. However, because your personal notes, journal photos, and budgets save locally, we highly recommend using your phone as your primary device for logging your expenses and memories on the go!
For The WanderPlan Master Planner:
If you are building a massive custom itinerary from scratch using our WanderPlan tool, you can build it on your laptop and transfer it to your phone using our manual sync feature:
- On your computer, open WanderPlan and go to the "Sync, Save & Reset" section on the Home tab.
- Click "Download Backup" to save a tiny file.
- Email, AirDrop, or message that file to your phone.
- Open WanderPlan on your phone, go to the same section, click "📂 Restore Backup", and select the file!
⚠️ Important Warning: Do not clear your phone's Safari or Chrome browser cache/history during your trip! Doing so will wipe out your saved budget and photo journal.
